一年一度的彎腰生活節已邁入第四年，每月一次常態舉辦的彎腰農夫市集也已一年餘。這些日子以來，彎腰的農友夥伴們越趨多元，每個生產者的美好理念、厚實的生命經驗累積，或者每樣農產加工品從土地出發的故事，無一不深刻並打動人心。2012彎腰生活節農友手冊的概念，即是透過文字，讓消費者能更深入的聆聽農友與其所生產農產加工品的故事。
於此同時，手冊中各篇農友故事，更是由一群自彎腰成形時後，就在市集出現與付出的青年夥伴們所撰寫的產地報導初稿，進行與農友夥伴來回的確認、修改與潤飾後的文章。結合了農友與青年兩個群體的視野，讀者透過文字看到的，是農友經年累月對於生產深刻的理念和堅持，更是青年們對於農業樣貌的認識和感動。
